At least one embodiment of the invention generally relates to a method for producing and processing scout imaging data with a hybrid imaging device, which is able to perform and prepare emission tomography as a first imaging modality. At least one embodiment of the invention also generally relates to a hybrid imaging device. Hybrid imaging devices of this kind are, for example as combined PET-MR system or combined PET-CT system or combined SPECT-CT system or combined SPECT-MR system.
