Method and System to Quantify Standardized Uptake Value in Tumors with Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography (SPECT) and SPECT/Computed Tomography (SPECT/CT)
This invention describes a method and an associated system to quantify standardized uptake value (SUV) in tumors with Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography (SPECT) and SPECT/Computed Tomography (SPECT/CT) systems. The method includes image data acquisition, individual physical correction approach for scatter, attenuation, spatial resolution and image noise, patient motions and an approach for SUV calculation. This invention solved issues of physical interference and patient motions to enable SUV quantification with SPECT and SPECT/CT imaging.一種核醫單光子影像測量腫瘤標準攝取值的方法及系統,利用單光子放射電腦斷層攝影(SPECT)或利用單光子放射電腦斷層攝影/電腦斷層攝影(SPECT/CT)以進行影像測量腫瘤標準攝取值,方法包含:一攝影步驟、一散射校正步驟、一衰減校正步驟、一影像解析度恢復步驟、一雜訊去除步驟、以及一攝取值計算步驟,本發明解決於動態單光子放射電腦斷層攝影上的物理干擾及患者移動之問題,以具備用於患者的腫瘤標準攝取值之量化能力。
