PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a puncture device which can be detached from an injector with an end of its puncture member being kept away from its surroundings as much as possible after blood drawing.
SOLUTION: The puncture device has: (a) a lancet assembly 100 having a lancet 101 and a protective cover 102 and (b) an injector assembly having a plunger 204 arranged in an injector body and a pusher 206 for shooting the lancet 101. In this case, (1) the lancet 101 has the lancet body, a lancet cap and a puncture member, (2) the protective cover 102 is arranged around the front part 114 of the lancet body 104 and can move forward along the puncture member after puncture by pressing a predetermined point against the front end opening of the protective cover, (3) the plunger 204 shoots the lancet body for puncture of the predetermined point, and (4) the pusher 206 presses the protective cover forward after puncture for moving it forward along the puncture member.
