PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an air filter medium and an air filter, which make an adsorbent hardly come off, which have sufficient structural durability even under high-load conditions and which have deodorization and dust collection performance, in a smaller number of manufacturing processes, or inexpensively manufacture and provide the air filter medium and the air filter by reducing a material for being used.SOLUTION: An air filter medium comprises at least two layers, that is, a nonwoven fabric layer A in which 15-85 g/mpowdered activated carbon is supported on a nonwoven fabric with a basis weight of 40-100 g/m, and an electret-processed nonwoven fabric layer B that has a basis weight of 6-40 g/mand a veneer pressure loss of 15 Pa or less in the case of 5.3 cm/s.
