The present invention relates to a cleansing composition having economical effect, environmentally- friendly effect, improving the usability, high cleansing effect, skin protection effect, and easily rinsing effect with a small amount of water, and a preparation method thereof. Accordingly, the present invention provides a cleansing composition includes a red-dog extract, which is obtained by extracting red-dog with saccharide and salt and then subjecting to an enzymatic reaction and filtration. Also, the present invention provides a method of preparing the cleansing composition comprises the steps of: (a) firstly extracting a first extract of red-dog by adding the red-dog to purified water and carrying out agitation； (b) secondly extracting a second extract of the red-dog by additionally adding purified water, saccharide, and salt to the first extract obtained from step (a), and carrying out agitation； (c) subjecting other components of the red-dog to an enzymatic reaction by using enzymes within the red-dog； and (d) obtaining the red- dog extract by filtering enzymatic reaction solution obtained from step (c).
