PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for solving a problem in drying tea leaves by squeezing out the moisture in tea leaves with a tea manufacturing machine with settings of the air flow, the revolution of a main shaft, and the take-out time for balanced drying, i.e. a problem of taking out some tea leaves extremely earlier than the take-out time preset based on a water content in some cases (e.g. taking out 5 minutes earlier than a preset take-out time of 15 minutes, depending on the state of tea leaves to be fed), resulting in insufficient squeezing which affects the shape and taste of tea products, and causing surface drying with internal tea leaves filled with moisture when not strongly squeezed out.SOLUTION: The air flow control method of a tea manufacturing machine includes: measuring moisture content of tea leaves in the tea manufacturing machine estimating the predicted take-out time based on the previous moisture content and the present moisture content comparing the predicted take-out time with a preset take-out time and increasing or decreasing the hot air flow supplied into the tea manufacturing machine.
