A device (10) to attract marine organisms is described, comprising an electricity supply (14) in the form of an electronic circuit, and also sound and/or light emitting units (16,18) connected to the electronic circuit, in which the electronic circuit (14) is connected to a cathode (12) and an anode (20), which, when in contact with water or seawater (24), are arranged to generate a current and a voltage for the formation of an electric field (28) about the device (10).
