PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device that can reliably suppress multiplication of fungi or algae in vicinity of the roots in hydroponic culture of plants, and can promote growth of the plants.SOLUTION: The plant is held by a supporting member 1 in a state that at least part of the root is exposed. Water supplied from a water supply device 3 is guided from the upper side to the lower side along a bottom plate inner surface 21 of a guiding member 2.
