Disclosed are a novel method for regulating the expression of a low-density lipoprotein receptor (LDLR) and a novel enhancer of the expression of a LDLR, both of which can increase the expression level of a LDLR. The expression level of a LDLR can be increased by inhibiting the expression of a ZFP36 family. The inhibition of the expression of the ZFP36 family can utilize an expression vector which carries at least member selected from an antisense strand, double-stranded RNA and low-molecular-weight interfering RNA all for mRNA of the ZFP36 family or an expression vector which can express the at least one member.
