The purpose of the present invention is to provide an individual packaging for an absorbent article said packaging having excellent unsealability and not easily causing a volatile component to volatilize. An individual packaging (1) for an absorbent article includes: an absorbent article (2) folded up in the lengthwise direction (L) and a package (4) that stores the absorbent article (2) in a storage space (3). The individual packaging (1) is characterized in that the storage space (3) is formed in the package (4) by folding up a packaging sheet (5) together with the absorbent article (2) from one or more folding axes said package (4) having a pair of seal regions (6) formed by sealing the folded packaging sheet (5) in the lengthwise direction (L) at both ends in the lengthwise direction (L) wherein: each of the seal regions (6) includes a plurality of seal parts (7) disposed intermittently in the lengthwise direction (L) the packaging sheet (5) has a predetermined oxygen permeability and the package (4) includes a chemical that contains a volatile component and a volatile component.
