Furthermore, other coupling elements corresponding to each other and separated for a distance are disposed on a lateral side of the opening of the cover body, allowing the bore of the opening to be reduced properly. Whereby, the foot protecting cover can be worn around a patients foot to keep it warm, and the observation of the position of an arterial catheter and the state of the peripheral circulation of the foot can be carried out conveniently by opening the lid any time when a patients instep is placed in the arterial catheter.
