This invention provides an oil-in-water-type emulsion cosmetic that is superior in tense feeling and is also superior in softness and moisturizing effect. The oil-in-water-type emulsion cosmetic of the present invention is characterized by comprising the following (A) to (F) components with the incorporation amounts of non-polar oil part being equal to or less than 30% based on the total amount of (C) component.(A) Hydrogenated polyisobutene having a number average molecular weight of 2000~3000 0.1~5 mass%(B) Higher alcohols 0.1~less than 1 mass%(C) Oil components 1~25 mass%(D) Surfactants 0.3~5 mass%(E) Water-soluble thickeners 0.05~5 mass%(F) Water-based components本發明提供緊實感優越、柔軟度及保濕效果亦優越之水中油型乳化化妝料。本發明相關之水中油型乳化化妝料以含有下述(A)至(F)成分、非極性油分之調配量在(C)成分全量中在30%以下為特徵:(A)數平均分子量為2000至3000之氫化聚異丁烯0.1至5質量%(B)高級醇 0.1至未達1質量%(C)油性成分 1至25質量%(D)界面活性劑 0.3至5質量%(E)水溶性增黏劑 0.05至5質量%(F)水性成分。
