The method involves obtaining a digital Roentgen unprocessed image from the pixel matrix of a solid detector. The pixel matrix comprises of pixel units formed on two plates which are arranged relative to each other. The discontinuities produced on the digital Roentgen unprocessed image due to the transfer of the plates are corrected and removed from the digital unprocessed image. An independent claim is included for the solid detector.
