<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for improving taste, capable of effectively improving the taste of food and drink, to provide the food and drink obtained by adding the composition, and to provide a method for producing the food and drink. <；P>；SOLUTION: The composition for improving the taste in one embodiment includes at least one of 5,5-dimethyl-2(5H)-furanone, &gamma；-butyrolactone and dihydro-2-methyl-3(2H)-furanone as an active ingredient.
