The present invention relates to a composition for preventing or treating acetaminophen-induced liver damage, containing a peptide which is derived from a protein isolated from laver, as an active ingredient. According to the present invention, the peptide which is composed of amino acid sequences represented by sequence number 1 can stand strong against heat and dryness, different from proteins which are generally susceptible to heat. In addition, the peptide can effectively suppress death of hepatocytes as well as oxidative damage on liver tissues induced by acetaminophen, thereby being useful for preventing or treating liver damage.본 발명은 김으로부터 분리된 단백질 유래 펩타이드를 유효성분으로 함유하는 아세트아미노펜 유발성 간 손상 예방 또는 치료용 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 서열번호 1로 표시되는 아미노산 서열로 구성된 펩타이드는 일반적으로 열에 약한 단백질과 달리 열과 건조에 강하며, 아세트아미노펜에 의해 유발된 간 조직의 산화적 손상과 간세포의 세포사멸을 저해하는 효과가 우수하므로, 이를 간 손상의 예방 또는 치료에 유용하게 이용할 수 있다.
