The invention relates to a dental scanning post for mounting and fixing on an implant, provided with an indicator of the radial angular position of the anti-rotation media of the implant. The post comprises: a main body provided with the indicator and means for connection to the implant； and means for fixing to the implant, formed by a fixing shaft and an upper head, the lower end of the shaft being a screwed end provided with a screw thread which is complementary to the inner thread of the screwed opening of the implant.
