Compositions and methods are provided for enhanced healing of wounds, e.g. cutaneous wounds, by application of a scaffold or matrix, e.g. a hydrogel film comprising a dose of macrophages, or monocyte progenitors thereof, which dose is effective in increasing the rate of wound healing. The compositions of the invention find use in treating cutaneous wounds, particularly chronic wounds, e.g. in diabetic patients or other patients with impaired wound healing.Linvention concerne des compositions et des procédés pour renforcer la cicatrisation de plaies, p.ex. des plaies cutanées, par application dun échafaudage ou dune matrice, p.ex. dun film dhydrogel comprenant une dose de macrophages, ou de progéniteurs monocytaires de ces derniers, laquelle dose étant efficace pour ce qui est daugmenter la vitesse de cicatrisation. Les compositions de linvention trouvent une utilisation dans le traitement des plaies cutanées, notamment des plaies chroniques, p.ex. chez les patients diabétiques ou dautres patients présentant une cicatrisation dégradée.
