PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a novel soft capsule which uses native collagen as a coating base material of a capsule coating.SOLUTION: A method for production comprises preparing a suspension which contains native collagen without acid, alkaline, enzyme processing, and 188 parts by weight to 319 parts by weight of water against 100 parts by weight of the native collagen forming a capsule coating from the suspension and filling a content in a formed capsule coating to produce a soft capsule.
