<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for culturing young shellfishes and a method for producing young shellfishes, in which growth of young shellfishes is promoted, enabling shipping in a short period of time. <；P>；SOLUTION: Young shellfishes are reared in a rearing water tank 7 filled with sea water for rearing. Light is blocked so that light blocking ratio of a rearing water tank 7 becomes in a range of 80% to 100% to keep sea water for rearing at a temperature suitable for growth of young shellfishes by a light-blocking means 8, and dissolved oxygen amount in sea water for rearing is controlled outside the water tank 7 for rearing so as to become 9 mg/l to 15 mg/l by an oxygen gas-blowing means 4. While sea water for rearing is fed to the undersurface of the water tank 7 for rearing, water is discharged from the water tank 7 for rearing. As a result, quietness in culturing area of young shellfishes is retained. Environment in which shellfishes can always take feed is created and intake of feed is increased by continuously giving feed to young shellfishes.
