PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint for poles capable of joint-fixing a pole extending vertically and a pole extending horizontally at a crossing position where the two poles cross each other.SOLUTION: A joint 1 for poles includes a support part capable of supporting a horizontally-extending second pole 12 from below. The support member includes a rotor 36 capable of reciprocally rotating about a horizontally-extending rotation shaft 39. When an inclined plane 36d of the rotor 36 supports the second pole 12 from below, the second pole 12 is brought into contact with the first pole 11 exposed at a position 35 and the inclined plane 36d to cause the rotor 36 to rotate.
