The present invention concerns apparatuses and methods for the reprocessingof devices such as medical equipment, in particular endoscopes. In one aspect,the invention is an endoscope reprocessing apparatus comprising a reprocessingchamber, a mounting in the reprocessing chamber to which an endoscope carrieris attached or removably attachable, a first reprocessing means arranged onor in an internal surface of the reprocessing chamber, and a reprocessing fluidsource in fluid communication with the first reprocessing means. The reprocessorcomprises further a rotating endoscope support/carrier, whereby the endoscopemight be in a cartridge/cassette. The device has spray nozzles for external cleaning,a connector for internal cleaning, a rotary shaft for driving the carrier/cartridge,doors and receptacles for processing and drained fluids, multi-way valves.
