PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a massage apparatus capable of reducing a difference in positions of a back face massage part with respect to bodies of users having different physical constitutions when a same time elapses.SOLUTION: A massage apparatus 1 includes a back face massage part 30, a position detection part 60, and a control part 50. The back face massage part 30 moves upward and downward. The position detection part 60 detects positions of the users shoulders.
