The present invention relates to a catheter which is inserted in the body to discharge a fluid into the body. The catheter comprises: a catheter tube, which is inserted in the chest to provide a flow passage for discharge gas and a fluid as a body fluid in the chest； a connector, which is formed at the rear of the catheter tube and to which a bag for collecting the fluid discharged from the bag is connected； a cannula needle, which is accommodated in the flow passage of the catheter tube through the connector and guides the front end of the catheter tube into the body using a probe exposed through the front end of the catheter tube； an air hole, which is formed along the catheter tube to guide the movement of the air； a balloon, which is provided at the front end side of the catheter tube, and expanded by the air provided along the air hole to fix the catheter tube in the chest； and an air injection part, which is connected to the air hole at the rear of the catheter tube and connected to an air injection. Therefore, the fluids, such as air, blood, and pus, present in the chest can be removed conveniently, safely, and accurately, and promptly. Since the diameter of the tube inserted into the chest is relatively small, a sanitary operation, a convenient use, and no scar on the chest can be attained.
