An isolated antibody that (i) competes with the antibody produced by the hybridoma cell line deposited as the ATCC Deposit No. PTA-6933 to bind with hIL-13Rα1； (ii) inhibits IL-13 signaling； and (iii) wherein a substitution in a hIL-13Rα1 peptide of the phenylalanine residue corresponding to position 233 of SEQ ID NO: 101 with an alanine residue leads to loss of binding between said antibody and the peptide of the resulting mutant hIL-13Rα1 compared to the binding between said antibody and the hIL-13Rα1 peptide without said substitution.Un anticuerpo aislado que (i) compite con el anticuerpo producido por la línea celular de hibridoma depositada como el Depósito de ATCC Nº PTA-6933 para unirse con hIL-13Rα1； (ii) inhibe la señalización de IL-13； y (iii) en donde una sustitución en un péptido de hIL-13Rα1 del residuo de fenilalanina que corresponde a la posición 233 de la SEC ID Nº:101 con un residuo de alanina lleva a la pérdida de la unión entre dicho anticuerpo y el péptido de hIL- 13Rα1 mutante resultante en comparación con la unión entre dicho anticuerpo y el péptido de hIL-13Rα1 sin dicha sustitución.
