PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple bathing device for physically handicapped persons, persons who receive nursing care, etc., which can open/close a draining lid of a drain port by a motor at the time of draining in normal times, but facilitates draining by hand when the draining lid is closed due to a failure of a power system or a power failure.SOLUTION: The simple bathing machine with a bathtub body 1 consists of a bathtub body 11 and a bathtub opening/closing section 12. A draining mechanism of the bathing machine is provided with a manual transmission system A consisting of the draining lid 3 for opening/closing a drain opening 22 by vertical motion thereof, a manual rod portion 4 for abutting on a lower portion of the draining lid 3 to vertically move the same, and a manual operating portion 5 for operating the manual rod portion 4. The draining mechanism is also provided with a power transmission system B consisting of a power rod portion 6 for abutting on the lower portion of the draining lid 3 to vertically move the same, and a power operating portion 7 for operating the power rod portion 6.
