PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel method for targeting a substance in leukemia stem cells and screening a therapeutic agent for chronic myelogenous leukemia, and to provide a novel therapeutic or preventive agent for the chronic myelogenous leukemia.SOLUTION: The method is obtained by newly fining out the fact: " activation of Foxo3a is required for the survival of the stem cells of the chronic myelogenous leukemia", and by confirming that a substance for inactivating the Foxo3a can be used as the therapeutic agent for the chronic myelogenous leukemia.COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT【課題】白血病幹細胞中の物質を標的にして慢性骨髄性白血病の治療剤をスクリーニングする新規な方法を提供することを解決すべき課題とした。加えて、新規な慢性骨髄性白血病の治療剤又は予防剤を提供することも解決すべき課題とした。【解決手段】新規に「Foxo3aの活性化は慢性白血病幹細胞の生存に必要であること」を見出し、さらにFoxo3aを不活性化する物質が慢性骨髄性白血病の治療剤に成り得ることを確認して、本発明を完成した。【選択図】なし
