PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of easily drying plants for coarse feed without deteriorating the plants, and to provide a method of producing high-quality coarse feed for livestock by drying plants for coarse feed by the drying method.SOLUTION: There is provided a drying method of plants for coarse feed in which at least a roof part of a tent warehouse constituted of a moisture-permeable and waterproof sheet with water vapor permeability of 500 g/m24hr or more is prepared for storing the plants for coarse feed in the tent warehouse. It is preferable that the moisture-permeable and waterproof sheet has air permeability of 5,000 sec/100 cmor less, and it is preferable that the plants for coarse feed be stored in a bale state. There is also provided a method of producing coarse feed for livestock by drying plants for coarse feed by the drying method.【課題】粗飼料用植物を劣化させることなく容易に乾燥させる方法と、この方法で粗飼料用植物を乾燥させて高品質の家畜用粗飼料を製造する方法を提供する。【解決手段】テント倉庫内に粗飼料用植物を保管して該粗飼料用植物を乾燥させるに当たり、テント倉庫の少なくとも屋根部は、透湿度が５００ｇ／ｍ２・２４ｈｒ以上の透湿防水シートで構成されたものとする粗飼料用植物の乾燥方法。この透湿防水シートは、透気度５０００秒／１００ｃｍ３以下であることが好ましく、粗飼料用植物は、ベールの状態で保管されることが好ましい。この方法で粗飼料用植物を乾燥させて家畜用粗飼料を製造する方法。【選択図】図１
