PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image diagnostic apparatus capable of reducing burden of an operator and a patient.SOLUTION: A medical image diagnostic apparatus includes: imaging means for imaging a target portion of a subject and a puncture needle inserted into the target portion to obtain a medical image； measurement means； calculation means； and a display processing part. The measurement means measures a position of a sensor set at the opposite side of the needle tip of the puncture needle and an inclination angle of the puncture needle. The calculation means obtains the position of the needle tip on the basis of a result measured by the measurement means and a needle length as the length of a straight line from a position where the sensor is set to a position of the needle tip. The display processing part displays a scale indicating a prescribed space together with the medical image in association with the position of the needle tip obtained when getting to a cauterization target of the target portion and the inclination angle of the puncture needle measured when getting thereto.【課題】術者及び患者の負担を軽減することが可能な医用画像診断装置を提供する。【解決手段】実施形態の医用画像診断装置は、被検体の対象部位および対象部位に刺入される穿刺針を撮影して医用画像を取得する撮影手段を有する。さらに、測定手段と、算出手段と、表示処理部とを有する。測定手段は、穿刺針における針先とは反対側に設けられたセンサの位置、及び、穿刺針の傾斜角を測定する。算出手段は、測定手段により測定された結果、及び、センサが設けられた位置から針先の位置までの直線の長さである針長に基づいて、針先の位置を求める。表示処理部は、所定の間隔を示すスケールを、対象部位の焼灼対象まで到達したときに求められた針先の位置及び到達したときに測定された穿刺針の傾斜角に合わせ、医用画像と共に表示させる。【選択図】図１
