Disclosed is an apparatus for sensing whether a wearable device is worn. The apparatus comprises: a housing combined to a wearable device of a user； a processor included in the housing； a battery included in the housing； and a conductive fastening unit. The battery supplies power to the processor. The processor measures capacitance between the conductive fastening unit and a body of the user.
