The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for providing guiding posture information to a subject by displaying a posture which the subject will take by using a luminous element when photographing a medical image including an X-ray. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the posture guiding apparatus comprises: a support capable of lifting a part of the body of the subject so that the subject can take the posture for photographing； a protocol storage unit storing guiding posture information of the subject on the support in accordance with a protocol for photographing the body of the subject； a control unit for enabling change of the guiding posture information of the subject based on the protocol stored in the protocol storage unit and outputting the guiding posture information of the subject according to the protocol； and a light emitting unit for displaying a predetermined shape of guide on where the subject will take the posture on the support.본 발명은 X-ray를 포함한 의료 영상을 촬영함에 있어서, 피검자가 취할 자세를 발광소자를 이용하여 표시함으로써 피검자에게 권장 자세 정보를 제공하는 장치 및 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 자세 가이드 장치는 피검자가 촬영을 위한 자세를 취하기 위하여 피검자의 신체의 일부를 올릴 수 있는 지지대, 피검자의 신체를 촬영하기 위한 프로토콜에 상응하게 지지대 상에서의 피검자의 권장 자세 정보가 저장된 프로토콜 저장부, 프로토콜 저장부에 저장된 프로토콜에 기초한 피검자의 권장 자세 정보를 변경할 수 있고 프로토콜에 따른 피검자의 권장 자세 정보를 출력하는 자세 정보 제어부 및 지지대 상에서 피검자가 자세를 취할 위치에 소정의 모양의 가이드를 표시하기 위한 발광부를 포함할 수 있다.
