PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an articulator simply and inexpensively manufactured by processing a metal sheet and achieving sufficient durability.
SOLUTION: The articulator is constituted by connecting a first jaw frame 1 and a second jaw frame 2, both of which comprise the metal sheet, through a joint 3 so as to be freely tiltable within a vertical plane. The first jaw frame 1 is constituted so that a rising part 12 is connected to a plate part 10, to which a dental model stand 8 is set, through a bent part 11 and joint parts 3A are provided to the upper parts of the side walls 13 provided to both sides of the rising part 12, and the second jaw part 2 is constituted so that joint parts 3B are provided to both sides of the rear end of a plate part 20 to which the dental model stand 8 is set. One of the joint parts 3A and 3B is a protruded part 22 protruded to both sides, and the other one of them is a groove-shaped cut-off part 14 for guiding the protruded part 22. In this articulator, the protruded part 22 is arranged to the groove-shaped cut-off part 14 in a freely rotatable manner through the cylindrical body 7 arranged between the protruded part 22 and the groove-shaped cut-off part 14 to connect the first and second jaw frames 1 and 2 so as to make them tiltable within the vertical plane.
