PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nano platinum particle-containing cosmetic which has an excellent antioxidant ability.SOLUTION: The invention provides a cosmetic containing nano platinum particles and nuclear particles. In the cosmetic, a nano platinum particle exists as a complex bonded to the surface of the nuclear particle having a larger diameter than that of the nano platinum particle, and the nano platinum particle on the complex is bonded to the surface of the nuclear particle in the condition of not being covered by a protective layer, such as an organic matter. The complex is obtained by mixing the nuclear particles into a nano platinum particle water obtained by radiating laser to a platinum board placed in water and dispersing the miniaturized nano platinum particles into water, and bonding the nano platinum particles on the surface of the nuclear particles.
