Ein Kanal (15, 16), erstreckt sich innerhalb des Schafts (4) von einer Austrittsöffnung (7) am Instrumentenkopf (5) bis zu einer Kanalöffnung (12). Erfindungsgemäß ist die Kanalöffnung (12) in der Mantelfläche der Sonotrode (1) angeordnet. Außerdem ist vorgesehen, dass im Bereich der Kanalöffnung (12) ein Ansatzteil (9) mit einem Flüssigkeitsanschluss vorgesehen ist.
