PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic sphygmomanometer capable of accurately reporting the number of times of remaining possible measurements corresponding to a person to be measured.
SOLUTION: From past consumption data, voltage consumption VA for one time (for instance, the consumption of a voltage before and after the measurement of the previous time) is calculated (step S104). Also, a recovery amount VB indicating a difference between a voltage value at the end of the measurement of the previous time and a present voltage value is calculated (step S108), and a voltage drop amount VC from the start of the measurement of the previous time is calculated (step S110). By dividing a remaining effective voltage (the present voltage value-a battery low threshold) by the voltage drop amount VC, the number of times of possible measurements is calculated and displayed (steps S112, S114).
