PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform smooth opening of a lower part of a crucible that is divided into several segments and closed.SOLUTION: A crucible 2 having a casting mold located below thereof is divided into two crucible forming members 2a and 2b by a dividing plane in the vertical direction. A supporting table 6 is provided with a hole 10 into which the crucible 10 is inserted and passed. At the circumference of the hole 10, each of protrusions 12a and 12b is contacted to a part of the lower surface of each of flanges 4a and 4b of the crucible forming members 2a and 2b. A restricted state in which restricting members 14a and 14b are contacted with the lower portions of the crucible forming members 2a and 2b and contacted to each other and a non-restricted state in which they are moved away from the lower portions of the crucible forming members 2a and 2b in an outward direction and opened outwardly are selectively applied. Gas cylinders 24a and 24b drive the restricted state or non-restricted state through each of levers 18a and 18b provided at the restricting members 14a and 14b respectively.
