PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for producing a first-aid adhesive tape having a highly hygroscopic hydrocolloid layer in the middle of the rear surface of a support body and a highly adhesive hydrocolloid layer at the outer periphery of the rear surface of the support body.SOLUTION: The apparatus and the method use a first drum 1 having a plurality of hollow parts 1a arranged on its circumference in the circumferential direction at a regular interval and rotating in a fixed direction, a second drum 2 having a plurality of recessed parts 2a arranged in its circumference in the circumferential direction at a regular interval and rotates in a direction opposite to the rotation direction of the first drum 1, and a center coating head 4a filling the hollow parts 1a of the first drum 1 with a paste-like hydrocolloid material.
