PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for supporting a training string capable of surely and easily fixing the training string. SOLUTION: The tool for supporting a training string, which supports a training string 40 for guiding a plant 51 on a stand 52, includes: a body 3; an engaging part 4 equipped with the body and engaged with the stand; a base part 8 having a nipping face, which is turned substantially vertically upward, equipped with the body; and a nipping piece 7 connected to the body position-changeably via a connecting piece 6 having flexibility and a lower face 22 of the nipping piece faces to the nipping face. The training string passes between the nipping face of the base part and the lower face of the nipping piece, and winds around the nipping piece as if the string strides over an upper part of the nipping piece.
