An assembly tool (20) for use with an ultrasonic surgical instrument includes a body portion (22), a neck (23), and a head portion (24). The body portion (22) includes a base (26) and first (30) and second legs (32) extending from the base (26) to define a receiving area therebetween. The neck (23) is attached to the body portion (22) and the head portion (24) is attached to the neck (23). The head portion (24) defines a central opening (36). The first (30) and second legs (32) of the body portion (22) are configured to engage a portion of a housing of an ultrasonic surgical instrument received within the receiving area, and the head portion (24) is configured to engage a rotation knob of the ultrasonic surgical instrument received within the central opening (36) to rotationally fix the rotation knob relative to the housing. Kits including the assembly tool (20) and methods of assembling an ultrasonic surgical instrument using the assembly tool (20) are also provided.
