PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method of improving field uniformity of spatial resolution and reducing noise, an image reconstruction method, and a tomographic imaging apparatus.SOLUTION: A step S2 of performing smoothing filtering by means of an anisotropic filter using a cover angle range of a PET device is repeated. Noise can be reduced by incorporating the anisotropic filter in consideration of the cover angle range of the PET device into the smoothing filtering, accordingly. The anisotropic filter in consideration of the cover angle range of the PET device is incorporated in the smoothing filtering, thereby reducing streak noise having directivity, especially. The step including the smoothing filtering is repeated, thereby improving field uniformity of spatial resolution.
