PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant extract which comprises o-diphenol-type chlorogenic acids at a high concentration, does not substantially comprise ferulylquinic acids and caffeine content, while excellent in deodorizing property or anti-oxidation property.SOLUTION: A method is provided for manufacturing a plant extract, which contains chlorogenic acids comprising an o-diphenol type chlorogenic acid and does not substantially contain ferulylquinic acid and caffeine.
