PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine a content of a component material included in a soft drink produced of mainly natural water and utilize its physiological function fully.SOLUTION: Rare sugar is contained in natural water. By drinking a soft drink produced of mainly the natural water, effects by physiological function of the rare sugar, such as postprandial elevation of glycemia inhibitory action, adiposity inhibitory action, blood pressure elevation inhibitory action, and the like are expressed, therefore significant effect for maintaining health of human body is obtained. In addition, by setting a content of the rare sugar included in the soft drink to 0.5-2 wt.%, sweetness of the soft drink is suppressed at a proper level thereby improving refreshing feeling of the soft drink. Therefore, the soft drink is suitable for sport beverage, especially.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】天然水を主原料とする清涼飲料水において、含有される成分物質の含有量を特定し、その生理機能を最大限発揮させる。【解決手段】天然水に希少糖を含有させる。この清涼飲料水の飲用によって、希少糖の生理機能に由来する作用、例えば、食後血糖上昇抑制作用、脂肪蓄積抑制作用、血圧上昇抑制作用等が発現され、人体の健康保全に顕著な効果が得られる。また、清涼飲料水全体に占める希少糖の含有量を0.5~2重量%に設定することで、清涼飲料水の甘味を適度に抑えてその清涼感を高めることができ、特にスポーツ飲料として用いるに好適である。
