The invention relates to an organic water absorption cultivated sponge and a manufacturing method thereof. According to weight percentage, the organic water absorption cultivated sponge is manufactured by the following substances: 10 to 60% of organic fertilizer and 40 to 90% of water-based polyurethane glue. The manufacturing method of the organic water absorption cultivated sponge comprises the steps of: sterilizing the organic fertilizer at a high temperature pulverizing the sterilized organic fertilizer and adding water to the pulverized organic fertilizer to be stirred into a pulp adding the water-based polyurethane glue to the pulp to form a mixture filling the mixture into a mold providing a foaming machine to perform forming, cooling, solidifying, demolding and dewatering steps and finally performing a high temperature sterilization process by a drying oven and performing a nature air dry process, so that a finished product of an organic water absorption cultivated sponge is obtained. In the invention, the organic fertilizer can provide nutrients for growth of vegetables and flowers, and the nontoxic and harmless water-based polyurethane glue is capable of forming bubble cavities after foaming in favor of extensions of roots and stems of plants.
