PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biomedical measurement device which can change an item to be measured in a living body of a user, according to an activity which a user performs.SOLUTION: A biomedical measurement device acquires S1, acceleration data which indicates acceleration which acts according to a body motion of a user, then detects S2 an activity state of a user based on the acquired acceleration data. The biomedical measurement device determines (S3:YES, S4) an index to be measured, out of plural indexes indicating an activity of a living body of a user, according to the detected activity state of the user. The biomedical measurement device determines, as a measurement item, a number of steps, when the user is in a first state in which the user performs an activity in a non-sleep time, and determines a body motion number in a sleep time when the user is in a second state in which the user performs an activity in a sleep time.
