PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorant composition and a deodorant agent using the deodorant composition which can suppress dripping of the composition when being applied and further, hardly cause aggregation after application and drying while suppressing tense feeling and enhancing smooth feeling after use, even if ethanol and antiperspirant are contained as constituents.SOLUTION: The deodorant composition of the present invention comprises ethanol, antiperspirant and hydrophobizing hydroxyalkyl cellulose.
