A cosmetic agent containing a cosmetically acceptable carrier; at least one non-ionic polyurethane polymer comprising at least one polyurethane compound, at least one non-ionic polyether compound and at least one ether compound; at least one emulsifier having an HLB value from 1-6; at least one emulsifier having an HLB value from 10-17; at least one sweat-inhibiting and/or deodorizing active substance; and wherein the total amount of emulsifiers in the cosmetic agent is from 0.01-4.9wt%. Preferably, the non-ionic polyurethane polymer additionally comprises at least one polyamine compound. The polyurethane polymer may be a copolymer modified terminally with lauryl alcohol and consisting of cocoaminopropylamine, polyethylene glycol and hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI). Alternatively, the polyurethane polymer may be a copolymer modified terminally with a branched C16-C20 alcohol and consisting of trimethylhexane diisocyanate (TMHDI). Also disclosed is the use of said cosmetic agent for increasing skin compatibility and/or for reducing and/or preventing textile discolouration and/or textile stains. A non-therapeutic cosmetic method is also disclosed for reducing the perspiration of the body and/or for reducing the body odour triggered by perspiration, wherein said cosmetic agent is applied to the human skin and remains at the site of application for at least one hour.
