PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon-neutral food packaging body which is high in heat resistance, low in water vapor permeability, light in weight, and can be burned to generate no poisonous gas.
SOLUTION: The food packaging body is designed to comprise at least one layer which has at least a &beta-pinene polymer at a content of 70% by mass or more, wherein the &beta-pinene polymer has a glass transition point of &ge80°C and specific gravity of &ge0.85 and lower than 1.0.
