CONSTITUTION: A serum-free medium for culturing animal cells contains Cirsium japonicum var. ussurinense extract, Acanthopanax senticosus Harms extract, stigmasterol of chemical formula 1 or N-acetylgalactosamine of chemical formula 2. The stigmasterol is isolated from Cirsium japonicum var. ussurinense extract. The N-acetylgalactosamine is isolated from Acanthopanax senticosus Harms extract.
