PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article excellent in liquid permeability, liquid taking property, wearing feeling of fitting to a crotch, and liquid leakage prevention.SOLUTION: An absorber 4 has: a center part absorption core upper layer 412 on a surface sheet side of an intermediate part and both end parts in a longitudinal direction, on a width direction center part 4C a both side part absorption core layer 413 adjacent to the center part absorption core upper layer on the surface sheet side of the intermediate part and both end parts in the longitudinal direction, on both side parts 4S in a width direction a low density skeleton layer 411 containing hydrophilic fibers having waviness and water absorption material on at least a width direction center part of the intermediate part in the longitudinal direction and width direction center part of both end parts in the longitudinal direction, in contact with the center part absorption core upper layer on the width direction center part of the intermediate part in the longitudinal direction, and existing on a rear surface sheet side. A density of the low density skeleton layer is smaller than that of the center part absorption core upper layer and both side part absorption core layers, the intermediate part in the longitudinal direction is thicker than both side part absorption core layers, and a basis weight of the center part absorption core upper layer is smaller than that of both side part absorption core layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
