PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray computer tomography apparatus which prevents generation of artifact even when artifact components increase with time.SOLUTION: In the X-ray computer tomography apparatus, an X-ray tube emits X-rays. An X-ray detector detects the X-rays emitted and transmitted through a subject. A data collection unit converts detection signals output from the X-ray detector into digital data. A preprocessing unit performs preprocessing of the digital data to generate projection data. A reconstruction unit reconstructs image data of a cross-sectional image on the basis of the projection data. A display unit displays the cross-sectional image. A correction unit corrects the projection data or the image data so as to remove the artifact components forming artifacts in the cross-sectional image.
