PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the operability of a bookmark button in an imaging apparatus for diagnosis.SOLUTION: This imaging apparatus for diagnosis is constituted so that the reflected signal from a blood vessel wall is acquired by axially moving the transmission and reception part of a probe having the transmission and reception part continuously performing the transmission and reception of a signal while rotating the same in a blood vessel and a plurality of the cross-sectional images of the blood vessel are axially formed on the basis of the acquired reflected signal. This imaging apparatus for diagnosis has a display part for successively displaying a plurality of the formed cross-sectional images in a time series manner, the first and second operation members arranged on an operational panel in order to apply a bookmark to the cross-sectional images and a control part for imparting the bookmark to the cross-sectional images during display corresponding to the users operation to at least one of the first and second operations.
